Everything was good, the location was very convenient and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a little cold and slightly noisy but still very fine.

I frequently stay at the Sand Dollar. It's budget friendly and the staff is always helpful. The pool is well maintained and they have an elevator which is a godsend when you're on the 3rd floor.

For about $100/night this place was great. Fridge and microwave, plenty of close parking, felt safe enough. Pool was dirty so we didn't want to use it which was a bummer but the room was fine.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

Facility needs some TLC but otherwise a surprisingly comfortable stay in clean & quiet room with very pleasant & helpful young man at front desk & daily housekeeping. We would happily stay here again!

This property was actually perfect for what I wanted. I just needed to stay one night near Monterey and a clean and affordable room. This fit the bill. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property and so a tad shabby in spots, but it was clean and that was what mattered to me.
