The room was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were really beautiful and well maintained. It’s a very quiet and small place so it was very peaceful and perfect walking distance to downtown. Will definitely be back to stay again.

The staff was kind and the room was clean. The room was a little stuffy but there was a large fan in the closet to utilize which helped. Bathroom was nice and clean. The grounds around the place were well maintained and we had a beautiful lemon tree outside of our room!

The room was nice and clean. Check-in was pleasant and at the lobby (office), plenty of information around the area vicinity were provided as free, including daily town paper. The room was so nicely maintained, clean and goods used for wash had unique flavors that fits to the room design. It helped to have additional comfort to shower time. Access to the downtown is a few minutes drive, and another few minutes takes to the coast line, which has beautiful sand beach and magnificent views of the coast line. Staff members were kind, considerate and supportive, walking out from the office to show me a convenient parking spot for the easier access to the room. All the service provided together help me rest well to get refreshed from long drive.

We stayed here for a few nights in July. We were delayed and our arrival was going to be after hours. I was able to call and make arrangements to pick up our room key when we arrived. I loved how close to everything the hotel was. The desk clerk was so friendly and we ended up having a great conversation the morning we checked out. My son needed help with his suitcase and the gentleman who was restocking the rooms came over and helped him out. The room was large and very nice. I wanted a room off the courtyard, which we received. However, we were not there enough to use the fire pit. It was more than just staying at a regular hotel. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Not a boutique hotel. We had the king cottage and there was no “theme” to speak of. Not a bad property but at $389 for a Friday night, really nothing special. Additionally, the smell of moth balls in the front desk area was eye watering. The TV was also 30 feet from the bed and maybe 42” inches size. The furniture under the tv looked like a fridge should have been there but the cabinet was empty. The room looked like it was put together with left over parts. Finally, a wine themed hotel should have at least something that represents wine. I was clean and the bed was comfortable, but that’s all I can say was better than average.

Beautiful inn. Friendly and efficient staff. Very clean. Great amenities. We stayed for four days in mid-August 2026 and rented a cottage which was wonderful. Lots of space with a living room / bedroom area: big comfy king sized bed, night stands, drawers, shelf space, flat-screen TV, couch, coffee table, AC / heater, fridge / freezer, microwave, coffee maker, table and chairs, and closet with (iron)ing board. It also had a very large bathroom with hot tub and a separate shower. The inn supplied bath salts, makeup remover wipes, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, a hair dryer, and plenty of towels. Outside there were lovely grounds with flowers, trees, plants, and various places to sit and relax. Parking was off street and readily available. The surrounding town, Carmel-By-The-Sea, is delightful and sophisticated with plenty of restaurants and shops. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely!

This place is very clean and convenient with comfortable bad. It's beautiful garden around units. The location is great too, only 1 mile driving to Carmel beach and 10 minutes driving to Monterey! The staff is very friendly and available.

Room was clean with a large shower and very comfortable bed. Staff was super friendly, and location is great for getting around by car but is a little bit of a walk to the downtown. Fire pit was out of order when we visited which was a little disappointing.
