「Place was a dump. Old and unmaintained Took forever to check in but I was the only one checking in. No quarters for the laundry. Had to go to the gas station next door to get change. Woke up from a dead sleep at 1:30 in the morning from a train whistle. The breakfast was almost unedible . $25 a night would be more like it, LOL」

「This property exceeded our expectations in every possible category. The house is stunning and meticulously maintained. The common spaces were welcoming and included an impressive trove of games. The outside grounds were well-groomed and ready for a nice sit or yard games. The room had lovely touches that complemented the historical architecture of the property.」

「Paper thin wall….family of 3, we listened to loud loud loud snore from the whoever was staying next door all night. Was left with the used toilet paper, which ran out with no extra roll. No fridge. Lady in the office was very nice.」

「What a beautiful Victorian home!!! We shared a tub bathroom with a toilet and a shower separate room with the other guests. No issue for us. The owner was delightful! She has snacks and cold drinks for sale (very economical) in the lobby. Light breakfast. Fantastic property!」

「The lakeside room was big and very clean. It felt like it had been recently remodeled. The bed was comfy and the shower had great water pressure. I loved the ambiance of this lodge! Such a beautiful setting!!! We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was good both times. Would love to stay here again!」

「It was a great cabin for us and our two dogs. We were able to get a later check out time. A little hard to see the numbers on the cabin as we arrived later in the night. There are a lot of mosquitoes so I would definitely recommend packing bug spray.」
