I scored a great deal though Expedia on Yurt #2, that is right next to the river. My kids and I loved our first glamping experience and would do it again. We are well versed with car/tent camping and the effort it takes to make it all happen. If you want something easy, this is it. The yurt had it all…a fully made comfy bed, a couch that turned into a futon, a couple of towels provided, a microwave, refrigerator, an AC unit and a couple of fans. They thought of all the comforts. The bath house with two private bathrooms were a close to us and clean. You still need to bring your toiletries such as soap and shampoo. The campground was quiet, felt safe and clean. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in Yurt 1 and it was so cool and comfortable. The bathhouse was very close and clean and the whole property had a great vibe. We will stay there again when we have a really early flight from Montrose.

The tiny house was clean. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils and cookware needed for meal prep. And, it is pet friendly. The checkin process was no contact, only a message with instructions which was very clear and easy to follow. There is a laundry facility available. It is in a great location to explore Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Was very clean. Check in was so easy. Property was clean and quiet. There was a creek by the property and was nice to sit by. Plenty of shade. If we needed anything they accommodated us. Kitchen was furnished with all we needed. Would recommend getting a few mixing bowls. #4 upper bed is not really good for adults but we all slept well. Would definitely recommend staying and we WILL be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Clean little tiny home right on the creek. Megan was a fantastic host. We had a couple little problems upon initial checkin but she addressed them promptly with a smile. We stayed one week without any other problems. They even offered for us to extend our stay one day, we loved it so much we re-arranged our travel plans and accepted the extension. We will definitely be back to the Wheel Haus soon!

Very clean and accurate to description. Little mix up on check in as did not receive information that office was closed. Suggestions-give directions on how to use electronic door lock & specifically how to lock it, ensure toilet paper is stocked and a lamp in the bedroom would be helpful. Would stay again without hesitation!

We stayed in yurt 1. We arrived late and left early. We wished we could have stayed longer but had a tight schedule. The yurt had great ambience. Not till first light did we realize it had a skylight! The bathroom was a short walk away. We had secure codes for both the yurt and bathroom. Great way to manage the rental. The only detractor was the vehicles that began arriving early in the morning just beyond the property’s fence.
