"Palace room was nice and spacious. We got a room at the end of the hallway which gave us two balconies. The resort itself is amazing! Everything was convenient, relaxing, and fun! The only downside of this resort is the food. There wasn’t that many choices and the hours were weird and closed early. Be prepared to pay high prices for everything! We enjoyed the pools and lagoon daily! My kids really liked renting water equipment at the lagoon. Overall I would high recommend this resort! "
"The building was in good condition, along with the property. It was clean. The staff was a bit pushy with costs. Overall good. Did not like $35 a day parking fee - that's complete BS on top of the daily rate. There is not much around beside the resort and beaches."
Puako Beach + Sunsets. Feel the Sea Breeze, Hear Calming Surf. Steps to Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for snorkeling or diving. Hapuna Beach was a hit for the kids! 2 hours to Kilauea and Hilo. No A/C. Fridge has been replaced with a larger one from the welcome video which is great! Grilling on the deck was great. Mosquitos were definitely an issue in mid-April - so plan ahead with bug spray and don't plan on eating on the porch ;)Puako area has been overrun by sea urchins unfortunately due to overfishing (more urchins per sq/m than anywhere else in the world - sad state of affairs for our coral reefs these days but that has nothing to do with the property ;)"
Until you experience it you don't know it exist... Exceeded Expectations

"Already dreaming of a return trip to this magical place. The care and attention to detail that Chris put into creating and maintaining the house and property was truly remarkable. We felt welcomed and right at home. House was immaculately clean, yet full of character and cool things to discover. Our kids loved running around the soft grass and playing on the swing, and our whole family looked forward to seeing the animals awaken as the sun came over the property each morning."
"This studio was very clean and had a comfy bed, lovely large deck (not a balcony) and a beautiful garden path for walking through the flowering trees and bushes. This made it feel private and removed from the rest of the surrounding houses, each with a large lot. We sat on the deck for meals, and one time caught a beautiful sunset. We were honored to receive fruit from Mitsuko, most of which had been harvested from her own trees. She was a lovely host and we hope to see her again!"
