"Our check in was incredible. We got to check in early, we requested an upgrade and were given a room that was available. They left us a gift in our room for our Babymoon. The staff were exceedingly friendly at every level, and the room servicing was efficient and amazing. We had a wonderful spa day during our stay and our only note there is that it’s only missing a cold plunge. Food was amazing at Brown’s and the breakfast buffet is really good as well as the happy hour —shoutout to Christian at the bar who made us a custom drink and wrote it down so we could request it even when he wasn’t on shift. Great snorkeling with complimentary equipment for 1 hour (which is more than enough to see all the amazing fish, coral, and sea turtles). Very family friendly and we can’t wait to come back with our kids."

"Incredible location. The lodge is located on a beautiful piece of property where you have a view of the ocean. Everyday we sat on the porch and watched the sunset. "
"The whole experience at Mauna Lani was top-notch. Food is terrific (especially Canoe House; fabulous meal and service!), hospitality was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable with an incredible view, the golf courses and pools and beach amenities were five-star, and the overall vibe was relaxing and posh without being pretentious. Excited to return…hopefully soon!"
"The resort itself is great. I love the location, the room was quiet and good size etc. Pools were fun! It was just all the little things. For the Hilton brand I would have expected things to be clean, maintained and top notch, but it wasn’t. When we got to our room late at night someone had been in the room cooking some kind of smelly seafood in the microwave and had left the garbage in the counter. The room was “cleaned” but it must have been a quick basic one. We are likely higher maintenance than most, as we do our own Lysol wipe down, while wiping we found blood on the toilet, hair everywhere, floors were still nasty. The washer and dryer were very old and didn’t clean well. It sounded like an airplane taking off when the washer ran. Dishwasher was half broken down and old. When you opened the door water ran out of it onto the floor. The air conditioning in the room was terrible. Ducted, but it would only work when you were in the room and moving around. So when sleeping the motion sensor would shut it off and you’d wake up hot. On the weekends the pool area seemed open to the public. It got a lot busier and louder with the locals. Again needs more maintenance as deck tiles are breaking up etc. pool was awesome, but given other issues I was a little concerned about cleanliness. For all 2.5 weeks there was a maintenance light for emergency lighting in the hall ceiling outside our room blinking. Fantastic resort, but it needs more care, attention and maintenance. "
"Laura was the best host I have ever had ! She was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful. Guiding us to plan the best family vacation ever (beaches, events, restaurants ) and every communication was sprinkled with kindness. The Red Ohana was fantastic !!! The home spacious, clean, beds comfortable, comforters and pillows were luxurious, lots of space for our family of five !! And the location was absolutely prime ! There’s nowhere else I would stay on the island ! If you’re considering staying here - a thousand percent YES ! It’s a home away from home ! "

"Have never had a VRBO rental with as many amenities as this one. Paper towels, tissue boxes everywhere, soaps and cleaning supplies, and a pantry with some of the basics. The home was spotless, the linens were great, and the welcome book explained everything."
