"A true family owned lodge set on the river. Great location, clean room and wonderful swing right at the edge of the river to enjoy. Grounds are beautiful. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area."

"The hot tub was wonderful and the views from inside the cottage or outside was beautiful. If you are needing to unwind this is the place. Even though there are neighbors on both sides it felt like you were secluded. I would recommend this place to others. Stearns beach was 40mins away then to the tin man in Hart , Michigan and dinner at Kristi's Pour house was a nice outting for a day."

"Waterfront room/kitchenette. Had appliances, utensils, pots,pans,and everything we needed to enjoy our week. Low-key place, especially if you don't wanna vacation with a crowd. Several clean and well maintained hot tubs(one right outside our room). There were several sets of stairs to get to the water/ beach; but because its a hillside resort, it creates different secluded areas where you feel almost like you have a private resort to yourself. Now if your looking for a modern resort feel,its not for you. But if you want small town charm and a place to unwind, nothing beats it. The best part was our dog got to vacation with us and we didn't have to leave her home with the neighbors. There was plenty of space for all of us and the host Christine was a refreshing kind soul who made us feel at home and couldn't have been more welcoming! We loved our stay and plan on returning annually and are hoping to return with other family members renting out the other rooms because this is the kind of place your kids will remember and try to recreate with their kids!"

"This is the perfect lake getaway, particularly at this price point. Note that it is one private bedroom, however there are 3 beds in the open basement that comfortably slept 5 of our family members. This lake is beautiful with all the fun of an all sports lake, including available boat rental right there at the cabin. We had a blast for a week in the Eagles Nest cabin in July and would absolutely return."

"My husband and I loved staying in this cabin. It is clean and so comfy and cozy. We had everything we needed to make our stay complete. It is a little over an hour from Ludington beach where we spent the day and watched the sunset which is something you have to experience at least once. Absolutely gorgeous!! If you are looking for quiet and secluded, this is it!"
