“We were visiting to visit our daughter while she worked the summer for the Forest City Owls and this home was only 15-20 minutes from the stadium and downtown Forest City. The home itself was cute and clean. There was only one shower in the Primary Bedroom so the 5 of us just had to be respectful of times in the shower but it was super clean. The owner was polite and great. We had a small snafu with the 2nd-floor central air but he had somebody over within the hour and the microwave was having……

“Outstanding little place to stay!! Ms. Denise is an incredibly warm and friendly manager!! Very sweet lady!! No dishes or cookware, which was my only disappointment. You download an app to pay for laundry. (Currently $3) Still, it was better equipped than most m/hotels I've stayed in. I appreciated the full size stove, full size fridge/freezer, the central air and the furniture. And, oooooooh THE WATER PRESSURE!! Shower is a bit cramped, but that water felt SOOOOOO good!! “We had an absolute blast at Piney Knob cabin! The location was perfect. It was secluded and quiet and very peaceful. Even got some fishing done! The cabin was super clean and nice! Easy check in and check out process! We will definitely be returning in the future!”

“This is THE place to stay for any activity and especially for Equestrian Events. Lynn was great and helped us with local places to eat and check out between events. There is a fantastic dog park within minutes of the home. Its was very calm, quiet, and relaxing. The pool, hot tub, and Grill were very welcoming after a day out!! “Bob and Gayle were so helpful and available to us,the property is better in person, than in any picture you can see or read about. The privacy and beauty of this cabin is great. Activities to go to are within 20 to 40 minutes from the cabin. The spring fed pond was a great part of the property my dog and I swimmed every inch of it. The fruit trees and wooded area were an incredible add on to this property, my wife and I will definitely come back God willing. Thank you Bob”

“this was our second time staying here, and we loved it just as much this time as the last time. It is such a cool house with a lot of character. The kitchen is well stocked, the house is clean, the bathrooms are nice, and the beds are all comfortable. the Internet was having problems while we were there, but outside of that it was perfect. It is especially great if you were showing at TIEC, it takes 10 minutes or less to get there from the house.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was extremely clean. We saw bunnies from the deck. Our only concern was the quality of bed linens which was not good. The sheets were rough and scratchy and there was no top sheet. We only had the comforter to cover up with and it was too hot. We did try to reach the owner to request different linens but they did not return our calls or emails. If the linens had not been a issue we would give this house a 5 star rating in all areas.”
