「Overall we had a lovely time. The place is just looking a bit tired and old fashioned. The decor is a mishmash of themes with some questionable colour choices and looking a bit rough round the edges. However finding a hotel that accommodates dogs is fantastic and location is great. Staff are friendly and you can tell thy work hard.

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」

「We've just come back from an absolutely lovely short stay at the Cliffden, primarily to visit local friends but also for a bit of relaxing family time.
The hotel itself and grounds are gorgeous with helpful, generous staff. Our room was basic but a good size and had everything we needed, we missed out on a Seaview and would definitely request that next time.
The pool and easy access to town through the gardens really made the stay but we also really enjoyed the restaurant with exceptional staff...
