Lovely location...

... and excellent, well-equipped and comfortable cottage a short walk from the river Coquet. Fascinating area to explore within easy reach of the coast and Newcastle.

Lovely quiet location

Very relaxing holiday in comfortable accommodation. A car is definitely required to explore Northumberland and to visit attractive nearby towns of Morpeth, Alnwick and Rothbury. Definitely recommend the Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge but the path there is muddy and you'd need a torch after dark. We'd definitely recommend the holiday cottage.

Fantastic place, a great get away from it all place

Thank you for such a great time - this place is so nice to stay at. First the COVID security is really comforting. Second the cottage is purpose built and so well equipped, both the cottage and the complex. Third is the ambiance, such a cool place to be, quiet and tranquil and Forthly a really cool host to look after us. We were alone ‘I think’ but even if fully booked, everyone has their private well thought out place. We will stay here again - we have not always said that about places we have stayed. And that is just the accommodation, the area is splendid as well between Morpeth and Alnwick. The pub walk is really 15mins max, need a bit of light and in winter a torch is provided too! The binoculars are a welcome help too, if you like stars or birds. We loved it!
