Great location, lovely cottage.

Had a lovely week, the beaches of Northumberland are the best in the UK, golden sands, blue skies and sea air. The local pubs and restaurants were excellent and we felt very safe with the measures put in place for social distancing. The beaches are all dog friendly and clean. The only down grade I would give to the cottage is that there was no wi-fi / internet and therefore no form of contact with phones and messages unless outside the cottage. I would have been happy to pay extra for it to be available. It would also have been useful to be able to look up places to visit during our stay. We had great time in this lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.

We had great time in this lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Lots of good walks along the river and the nearby beach. Couple of nice pubs nearby selling good homecooked pub grub. The dog was welcome in both. The bed was comfortable and the shower good and powerful. Only thing I would change is the armchairs which were not so comfortable. There is a hairdryer which isn't mentioned in the description. Also towels were provided. I made the mistake of reading older reviews and took towels with me. We'll definitely return soon.
