The Neighborhood:
Warkworth, located on the Heritage Coast, is a lovely village highlighted by the stunning ruins of its 12th century castle. The Percy Family, who took over the castle in 1332, is entwined with the history of the community and the castle. The second house of the Percys is adjacent Alnwick Castle, which was lately connected with Harry Potter as the film site of Hogwarts School. Warkworth also boasts its own sandy beach as well as a 9-hole pay-and-play golf course.
