“转机呆了几个小时，退房的前台人拿个信封给我，问我要给多少钱小费，这个也太直接了吧，我要求他们不要叫醒服务，他们就还是一样叫醒我，这个时间并不是我同意的时间，对我来说系统打扰，还想要小费。”

“This is a really nice hotel the rooms were basic but clean. The roof top bar gave this an extra something but bar far the best thing about this hotel was the staff, they went the extra mile to make sure your stay was comefortable, they greeted me by name by the end of the first day. It felt like a lovely family. If I am in Moshi again I will definitely stay here again! ”

“The people that work at Stella Maris are wonderful and really set this place apart from other options. I stayed here for 6 nights around a Kilimanjaro trek and it was a very comfortable and warm stay. The staff are friendly and caring and it very quickly felt like my home away from home. The food was also delicious and I appreciated the mission of the hotel+school. If I'm ever back in the Moshi/Arusha area, I'll be looking to stay here again. “Für 1 Nacht vor der Safari gebucht, war es gut. Allerdings 2 DZ gebucht und wurden in einem Bungalow( mit je 1 Bad) untergebracht. Anlage war schön, Essen sehr gut und Personal sehr nett. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen, aber sicher.”

The restaurant food is delicious but a bit pricey for the area. If you’re staying in Moshi or intending to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend staying here. Par contre Expedia ne donne pas les infos de la chambre réservée, nous sommes arrivés de nuit et nous avons découvert le lendemain que la chambre vue montagne n'en était pas une.... “The area is nice with kind of bungalows in a well-maintained garden area. Pool is great, Gym is old and to be used with care. We booked the 3 days stay with breakfast, which is just very basic and each day the same, however allows a good start in the day. Room is nicely made but lacks on repairs and maintenance. We had some issues with broken kettles, power sockets and room telephone, which we addressed to reception and management, however no one cares about it during our stay. Staff is……

“Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here ”

“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“Is a very simple and quiet hostel. My room was cozy and small. The building is old and not too modern. The plumping can be bad. If you are not into luxury and you are a simple person and dont really care about materials then this place is good for you. If you are not like that then this place is not for you. Is located in the main road of moshi so it easy to walk around. The price is realy good with a simple breakfast. Its a fair deal. ”
