The Village is small and peacful, with a shop, post office, chip shop and a dog friendly pub that serves great beer and food and is only a 2 minute walk away. "My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. Great find.
"Staff were friendly at check-in, and explained all we needed to know regarding the hotel and bar. We ate dinner at the hotel, and the food was superb, chatting to chef after meal service had ended, it was obvious they take great pride in their food. The (family) room was very spacious for the two of us, and the corner shower cubicle in the en-suite bathroom was a generous size. Outside there is a secluded green with access to public moorings for Broads cruisers. All in all, a great place to stay."
