「Nice place to stay in St John’s - spotless clean, in a quiet neighborhood. The location is nice but not really walking distance or convenience to downtown. If you rent a car or ok to take a taxi, no problem - it is just a swift ride.」

「Overall the stay was good. Our stay was during cold spell, in the living room/sun room area, the heat had been turned off so it was pretty cold the first night. There were no extra blankets to use to be able to sit in this room. The host did supply a blanket and a heater when I messaged him to inquire about the heat. There were a couple “ technical glitches” with some of the appliances but luckily I was capable and persistent and was able to make them work. Would I stay again, probably,...

「This unit provided what we needed. Bed, bath, kitchen, laundry and living room. It’s quite comfortable. For us it was the perfect place to stay while touring this side of Newfoundland. It is a basement apartment so not the best if mobility issues are a concern as there are outside stairs to get to the unit. 」

「The property is just as advertised. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The manager was very quick to respond in a professional manner. The location was very central. There are lots of hills to enjoy while walking the neighbourhood. The only negative that we had was the ceiling height of the hallway to the bathroom. It was very low. Perhaps this is a common thing to expect with a very old character home. We loved our stay. 」

「The host was very unreasonable about reimbursement due to my grandmothers passing. Wouldn’t recommend staying at pennywell prestige to anyone. Very unfair service and will not rebook ever. I didn’t even request full reimbursement, even a partial would have been reasonable. But the host was very unfair. 」
