It's a simple basement level apartment with a bedroom (2 twin beds) a private 3-pc bathroom, laundry facilities, a large fridge, microwave and pod coffee maker, dishes, etc. Also a TV, desk, couch, and coffee table. The living room was reasonably bright, despite being in a basement. Quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Parking on street or in the driveway. Close enough that I was able to walk (about 20 mins) to the Avalon Mall, and a few other places I wanted to go to do some errands. The owner and family live upstairs and said to let him know if I needed anything or had any questions. Price was right. I would stay there again.

I liked that it was close to where I needed to go and things. It has a full size fridge which is good. I did leave a suggestion about putting covers over the pillows and I meant to add bed as well. Very friendly and kind.. Relaxing!!! 🙂

First time using a VRBO we did not know what to expect. What we didn't expect was to a tiny beautiful hideaway where it seemed like time stood still like one of those places in stories. It was clean, the host was awesome and so easy to get hold of. 2 mins drive away was a gas station, a convenience store and a coffee shop and a 3 min drive from the main area of business in St. John's. 5 minutes from the mall, car dealerships. food places. It seemed like everything you needed was between 2 and 5 minutes away. The exterior of the property was spotless, there was ample parking, easy access to the place we stayed. It was such a quiet place and neighborhood you could just sit, relax and let your worries disappear 24 hours a day. We wished we never had to leave. There was TV, free wifi, free coffee/tea bar setup to use with a comfy couch that made you want to curl up in a blanket and drink your coffee turn on the TV and forget the world existed. To top it off the lights in the TV / Coffee bar area were dimming lights that just added the ability to sit and relax. I would have given our stay 10 stars but we could only give it 5. If you are headed into St. John's NL to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life and all the stresses it brings this is the place for you to enjoy. Just from this one experience my wife said she will never stay in a hotel or motel again.
