We walked to the area where you can put kayaks into the lake. There were geese, ducks, and squirrels which made our dog happy. The General Store in the town of Lake is a must! “Our family had a great stay at this retro get away for labor day weekend. There was more than enough room for all of us. We were all able to have our own room/space to sleep. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had and let us in as soon as we arrived. The house it self could use some updating but overall no complaints! “We had a wonderful time at this house! We were a group of adults, family and friends and one infant, celebrating a birthday. The rooms were all wonderful. The host even had a pack-n-play for the baby to use so we didnt have to bring one. The weekend was very cold, but the indoor pool and spa made the weekend a great time. There is so much space in the house for everyone to have their own area, but also come together for meals and game time. Thank you Dee and Chris for a wonderful stay!”

“This is a great location to downtown in a nice neighborhood. The home was tastefully renovated with modern amenities provided. The bed was super comfortable too. We arrived at night, in the rain and didn’t realize the garage was around the corner from the home. We parked in front of the house and ended up with a $30 parking citation. This information was noted in the house rules binder that we found the day we were checking out inside the coffee table drawer. Might be a good idea to list this……

“We loved our weekend stay and can't wait to go back next summer. We were able to bring our pontoon and dock it right in front of the cabin. “Booked the King Jacuzzi. Everything was excellent, newly remodeled room, comfy bed, clean linens, clean room... Only real suggestion for improvement i can suggest is get the Jacuzzi a better jet system or motor or whatever makes the jets run.
