“Cute little cabin! Has everything you need. Close to other homes, but still feels very private. Loved the outdoor hot tub. ”

“Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! My sisters and I had such a special time together, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The cabin is beautiful, spotless, and decorated with great taste. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were amazingly soft and luxurious. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need, whether you want to make a simple cup of coffee or prepare a full breakfast or dinner. The bathroom is small, but it is thoughtfully stocked with everything……

“Overall it was pleasant, but when we entered the room on the first day, my son jumped on the bed. Then our family saw the dust in the air. I hope the cleanliness of the room is not just superficial.”

“Quite location, super clean and user friendly with great attention to detail for all guest needs”

“Very nice vintage property. Close to everything, easy access. My daughter loved the "little nook" she got (the bed by the living room.”

“The hobbit house is a very charming home. It’s been beautifully remodeled, and the grounds are perfect for making dinners at home. It is walking distance to everything that you might need in Idyllwild. And most importantly, in my opinion, the property manager/owner was only a phone call away. When we needed anything at all, we could contact him and he responded. This is very important in my opinion. Highly recommend! It’s a great place to stay.”

“Great location, walking distance to town and to a great meadow and park. Very comfortable cabin; clean, great beds, pillows and linens/towels. The decks and backyard were great for our dog to be able to run around.”

“Very spacious suites with nice furnishings. Good small kitchen setup including full size dishwasher, refrigerator, and range. Staff were helpful especially finding restaurant and amenities.”

“The house was exactly as described and clean. We had a small delay in one communication with host but they were very apologetic and responsive thereafter. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. And we loved that Idyllwild gave us the quiet 4th of July evening we needed.”

“There is really nothing I could say negative about the place. It was comfortable, spacious, and tastefully furnished and decorated. The kitchen was nice. It is a two story, but if you don't mind going up and down the stairs I think you will like this place, and I think you will like the host.”
