「We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this gem nestled next to Garden of the Gods. The property is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history behind the hotel. They were doing construction on the castle when we were there so we could only see the first floor. We stayed in one of the lodges. The rooms are simple and clean. Great for an affordable getaway and home base while you explore Manitou and the surrounding area.」

「This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again. 」

「Nice and quiet and it's right on the river. The deck right outside the door overlooks the river so if you leave the door cracked you can hear it all night it's great. The rest of the restaurant within walking distance and a trolley that can take you into Estes Park and back for free. This is great for budget-friendly people because the prices are awesome as well. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. It is also very close to the Rocky mountain national Park entrance....
