“Great stay”

“Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Leaving cakes for us was a lovely touch. Thanks for a great……

“The cottage was lovely, comfortable, private and super clean. . Local amenities were just steps away, as the cottage is situated in a quiet alleyway just off the High Street.. Days out options are good. We enjoyed visiting the Churnet Valley Railway for a cream tea experience. We also visited the nearby Peak District, which is beautiful. St Giles Church in Cheadle is also a must see. Our only slight negative, was although the parking wasn't far away, it was in a car park across the High……

“Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. Pictures/description of the property can't do justice to the wow factor. Would definitely recommend.”

“Excellent cottage, clean,comfortable and homely, many people would be upset because of lack of phone signal or internet but made it for me real peace and quiet, Excellent kitchen is well equipped with pots pans,cutlery, drink making facilities, and the views from the cottage are outstanding. ”

“Lack of communication, misleading advert, shared bathroom filthy, kitchenette is difficult to find no signage. Difficult to gain access to the property ”

“The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again.”

“House was very large, bedrooms where spacious & bedding was clean & fresh, kitchen had lots of utensils & crockery but was short of forks, spoke to host & more was supplied quickly, location is fantastic, with lots of lovely walks, there are a few thing that could do with a bit of maintenance ie; a few door hinges need fixing”
