"You get what you pay for. The cabin was simple and had no amenities. No pots, pans, linens, or cooking options. Just as described. Beds were comfortable. The dock on the lake was a gem with a firepit, kayaks, peddle boards and very comfortable lounge chairs. Something needs to be done about the walls of the bathroom in cabin 24 not sure if other cabins have that problem m. Disgusting brown drips all ver the wall by the toilet. Treat the walls with washable paint or tiles so the cleaners can take care of it."

"We really enjoyed this rental and it's location in Copper Harbor, walkable or bikeable to many spots in town. Kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was clean as well. Sitting on the front porch was great in the mornings and at night too. The door code to get in and out was easy and never had any issues. Would stay here again!"

"This cottage suited all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals. Great place for launching day trips. We loved the river! Starting mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee and the river sounds in the background was a perfect place to plan our adventures."

"We loved our time in the UP! So grateful for this space for our family to enjoy the area. We loved the easy access to swim in the lake just by walking down the driveway. The privacy of the space and the overall feel of the house was just what we needed. Our group of 8 (4 adults with 4 kids) was able to use this rental to the full. Rooms were so comfortable and adequate, home was home-y—you can tell the space is theirs when they don’t have it rented out! Thank you, Carla and fam, for sharing your home away from home with us!"

"It simply does not get more romantic or luxurious than the eagle river lighthouse. Virginia Cole is more than reliable, she is proactive, making sure that every little thing is right with your stay from the minute you decide to book until the morning you must sadly check out. You may have some sticker shock but you get what you pay for and more at the Eagle River lighthouse."

"What a wonderful surprise. Anthony, our host was incredible! Mel was awesome too! Immediate responses to any questions and the kindest energy throughout the entire process.The cabin was perfect. Clean, basic, and perfectly located to the beach. Walk outside the cabin, make a left and about 10 steps from the front door you will be able to see the beautiful, crystal clear waters of Lake Superior. Walk 30 seconds down the road and you will be at the beach. Fires roaring right on the shore, a top notch restaurant located inside the hotel Fritz, and miles and miles of Beautiful shoreline to explore in either direction. My boyfriend and I love to camp but our kids didn’t want to, so we put up our tent while they slept inside. A great compromise for different personalities. What we all agreed upon was how amazing the town was, how much there was to do, and sitting by the fire every night roasting marshmallows and laughing until we cried was definitely a much needed break!We were so sad to go home. Definitely will be coming back to stay next year! Or maybe again this year! If you have never been to the UP and want a place to stay where you can experience the full beauty of this magical land! Then this is the perfect little cabin to rent! Thank you Anthony for answering all my many questions! You are a wonderful host!!
