“We were in Birmingham to visit our daughter who is a student at UAB. We had two sets of grandparents and they don’t navigate stairs well, so this home suited them perfectly. It was comfortable and clean. And a great place for us all to gather for a meal or just to chat and catch up. It’s in a neighborhood not in an urban area, so there’s nothing around that’s walkable. We had groceries delivered so we could have snacks and breakfasts there. But had to drive to go anywhere. It’s a short drive……

“It was a nice place to stay for the night. The host did give us easy to follow directions to find the unit. Though, parking was not great for us a with a full sized SUV. It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. We stayed for an event. When we had comenback to the unit that night, the tv on the main floor was on, when we know it was not on when we……

“The property was 10 minutes away from the Pelham Racquet Club and most restaurants. The owner quickly responded to our needs.”

“Property was very nice and clean. Beds were super comfortable. Had everything we needed for our one-night stay. Only problem was the driveway. It was very dark outside and we did not expect how difficult it would be to unload car. We are in our late sixties, so that was a struggle. Overall, it was a nice stay..”

“Enjoyed the location because it was very close to retail and the highway. The outdoor area was a huge plus. The home has a cabin feel with all the amenities. The beds were very comfy as well.”

“House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property.”

“Little to no communication with property owner. I had to ask him for code to get in. The property is nice! However there needs to be blinds on the living room windows since 2 of the beds are there. There was also a major ant problem. I would stay again.”

“Only other feedback is this house sleeps 5 adults not six. Twin bed is small. Sofa cannot accommodate adult either. Otherwise all was great”

“The listing is deceptive because it shows up in the 2 bath filter, it also list the 2nd bath as 1 and half bath (which makes you think it is a Jack and Jill bathroom) but this is a one bathroom with a half bath in one of the bedrooms. The home is older but cozy. The neighborhood is quite but I was uneasy with some of the activity on the street. I might stay here again but not for the price I paid to rent this home”
