Wife enjoyed sitting in bedroom window and knitting. Grear kitchen and comfortable beds. We intend to return.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Ingrid’s house in Ballywinney just outside of Camlough. The view from the house was really awe inspiring, with rolling green sheep filled fields rising against the backdrop of the South Armagh mountains. The house is lovely, comfortable, clean and very homely. It’s very well equipped too with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. There was also good wifi and a good selection of TV channels. “We chose Hilltown because it wasn’t a long journey from Dublin and it’s a manageable trip for my parents. We had a lovely week and managed to get out every day. Mourne is beautiful with lots of places to see. The house was lovely and comfortable. Would need a few more kitchen utensils. A small pan, deeper bowls for cereal. A dishwasher would be good.”

“Property was perfect for a relaxing overnight stay. My only issue was dining room staff took our order for tea / coffee informed us to use self service but we were not made aware in time that we would have to pre order fried/poached eggs , by the time our eggs were served we had almost finished eating our fried food which was by now cold. We had mot looked at menu as we went instead to use the self service . Clear communication would have prevented this occurring.”

The only improvement that could have been made, was the view from the room windows. To be honest though, it was not a big thing; taking the overall experience into consideration. ”
