“我們拍的旅程出現了一點小意外，半夜2點多才抵達酒店，看見員工依然友善地接待，讓人感覺舒服。同時，看見其他在并然有序的清潔大堂，其認真程度值得一讚。睡房狀態很好，睡床舒服，睡房空間及浴室空間也很大，讓人感覺舒適。我們早上6時半左右離開，自助早餐已於早上5時半準備就緒。食物質素不亦不俗。總體而言，是令人感覺舒適喜歡的酒店。”

“We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. “Good healthy breakfast. Comfortable stay. Eco friendly environment. Excellent communication via WhatsApp - like it. Our bung as low faced padi field. Good to relax, walk round the village and chill from the hustle and bustle of the city especially after 2N in Malioboro”

“Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, es war schlichtweg hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den außergewöhnlichen Service: Nachdem ich mir in einem anderen Lokal eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen hatte, wurde mir hier auf jede erdenkliche Weise geholfen. Das Team hat sofort einen Arzt gerufen, regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob es mir besser geht, und mir sogar Elektrolyte zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese Fürsorge und Aufmerksamkeit sind wirklich nicht……

“Beautiful and interesting home with different areas and a little courtyard inside. Carvings and tiles. They had an old radio, record player etc. wonderful if you want to see an old Kotagede type house from the inside. There's a bookshop attached to the house and it has a good selection of books, including Indonesian books translates into English, a section on Javanese culture, and political books like Gramsci etc. Location is good near lots of nice restaurants, walkable to the Mataram makams,……

“I was booked the hotel for my friend, he told me his stay at AlZara hotel was fine, pretty basic 3 star hotel. Very disappointing that they did NOT serve breakfast, you have to order via online food delivery. The staff are friendly enough, even though they staring at you sometimes, because obviously not many western stay in the hotel. ”
