「Very easy access, no insects in the room or on the bed. One of our problems is that there's no door to the bathroom and one of the window curtains was missing, so only half the window was covered and the neighbors have a direct view into the room and can see you while you're using the toilet. I had to improvise to cover the window!!... Room is not bad, but it could be in better conditions.」

「Velvet B&B in Amsterdam was absolutely spectacular. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and actually looked to come back in August but it is fully booked! It is the perfect location right in the heart of the city centre and a 5 minute walk from Centraal. The room its self overlooked the canal which was beautiful and was quiet on an evening. David was so friendly and kind to us. We would recommend anyone to stay here!」

「Very good location. We went all attractions by walk during stays in Amsterdam. Many restaurants nearby. The house is amazing that it's a historical building. 「What a find. A quiet oases while absorbing Amsterdam’s frenetic energy. Our host was very welcoming and recommended a few essential things around the neighborhood. There was plenty of coffee, even some stroopwaffles and jar of lollipops for the taking! The place was tastefully furnished and decorated. I would definitely stay here again. 」

「The place is very beautiful and comfortable, the host takes care about every detail in the hotel, the design of the room, the flowers, and everything you need in the bathroom. The kitchen offers some simple equipment (cooking not available), and a variety of nice coffee and teabags free to your use. The host family is staying upstairs of the hotel room but it's separated so it feels very private. Overall the stay is great I will definitely recommend it to my friends.」
