"This is a lovely houseboat at the end of a jetty. It is easily accessed on the 800 bus from the Central Station in Amsterdam, getting off just before the cheese and clog shop. We had a fabulous time, the surrounding area is beautiful. Would highly recommend"

Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Die Aqua Cabin ist für fünf Personen ein wenig klein, aber sehr sinnvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Die Lage am Hafen ist schön, leider war dort wenig los. Die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, das Restaurant auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es ein paar nette Restaurants, Tankstelle und Supermarkt, so dass man sich gut versorgen kann. Das beste an der Aqua Cabin ist aber die Lage. Quasi alle Top Spots in Zentral-Niederlande sind in 30 Minuten...

"We though how cliché to stay in a houseboat in the Netherlands and this one was perfect. It is updated in a very modern style and included everything we might need. The views from the back deck were very nice & allowed us to watch the sunset. The location is perfect in the quiet town of Aalsmeer yet a short drive to Keukenhof & Amsterdam. "

"We really enjoyed our stay on the houseboat. The place itself was great and we had plenty of space for our family of 4. The location was close to the windmills and we used the included bikes and boat to view them. The host was very responsive with any inquiries we had. The only issue we had was with the boat running out of battery power on the way back from the windmills, so we had to paddle. The host reached out and resolved it quickly. An added perk was the restaurant across the road...
