Lovely villa in quiet village in Gozo

The property was very light, spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool was well maintained and had plenty of pool-side furniture. All bedrooms had ensuite showers, lots of wardrobe space and the beds were comfortable. Sarah and Alex were excellent hosts, and were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Stunning property!

We had a wonderful stay at Ta Xandru. The home was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. It is a brand new home and very modern. Sarah was available to answer any questions we had. She even bought a new baby crib and high chair for our 1 year old daughter to use. We absolutely loved the outdoors space, especially the beautiful pool. The views of the hills and farmland are spectacular from the backyard/pool and the balcony upstairs in the back. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful home in Gozo - we absolutely loved it! Thank you Sarah!!

Beautiful - Had a Fantastic Stay

Often on booking sites, the descriptions and pictures aren't really representative of the actual property - descriptions exaggerated and photos taken long ago, 'Photoshopped' or at bizarre angles to create space. No such issues at 'Ta Xandru' - the pictures and description, if anything, don't do the house justice. It is a wonderful place to stay: everything new, very clean and modern - despite being called a 'farmhouse', this isn't the typical rustic Gozitan one, it's a beautiful old building lovingly restored and furnished. It is the owner's pride and joy and for good reason. As for the property itself, bedrooms are large, well furnished with every one ensuite (very modern bathrooms unlike many places in Gozo); the kitchen is fully equipped (with tons of crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc), the pool area is great, and something not really mentioned in the description: there are two sun terraces in addition to the pool area) and the views are fantastic, indeed as they are even from the pool overlooking the valley. In short, we loved our stay, it was a week and we wish it could have been longer. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing

Alex and Sarah are the most wonderful hosts who honourable of their way to service their tennants. The house is TOP class, SO clean and proper and everything is thought of. From linnnen to towels and pool towels. From soap to shampoo to detergent. 100% fuldt equipped kitchen, breakfast was prepared for us through groceries in the fridge. Pebers checked in with us during the stay to ask if we were ok. Location is away from tourists but in local neighbour hood. Car is advisable but we managed with local nusses and the kindest taxidrivers. Small supermarket 10 min walk from the house. We 100000% recommend you to rent this amazing Gozotian house.
