This space was perfect for my family. The property was kept up well and the entrance from the beach was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
The condo was great. Clean, spacious, it was a great place to hang out on the beach if it got too hot to be outside.
Only reason not an overall 5-star is that the washer did not work. We had to figure out the laundry situation. Notified the rental company but wasn’t time during our stay to get it fixed.
Would stay there again however. One of the best condos in that stretch of beach that I’ve used!
The condo itself was perfect. The downfall maintenance to the main building was being performed and started quite early each morning which was very loud.
Great Stay, Great Staff, Great Beach,
Great Location, Great Accommodations. One of the best Vacation weeks ever, making Reservations for next year before I leave….😊
We enjoyed our stay very much and the owners were the best! They were very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely come back to this condo.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo. We knew going in based off of previous reviews that the place was dated. It definitely needs some work but it was clean and very comfortable. The view of the ocean was amazing and we didn’t have any issues with the property itself. Convenient to most everything we wanted to do and not too crowded.
This condo is ocean front and the perfect height for ocean gazing even from the kitchen table. (1st floor, which is kind of 2nd, over ground floor and deck and pool - not directly over pool) adorable paintings and decor throughout. I only gave 4 stars for overall for some needed repairs where there were apparently water leaks and master bathroom could use some more towel/clothing racks or hooks. Although there are two big clothes closets right there. Overall, delightful and we would definitely stay again, and hopefully, will!
When we arrived, the door knob was falling off. It took multiple times to try to unlock the door. This issue wasn’t resolved until Monday and we got there Saturday. But this is something the cleaning crew should have addressed while they were there. There was a push pop from the previous stay under the bed and a mound of sand under the carpets and chairs. There were still hairs on the shower walls and the lint trap in the dryer looked like it hadn’t been emptied in a few stays. It wasn’t clean and the kitchen utensils aren’t user friendly for someone who wants to cook while they’re there. There’s also no space to put any of your beach items.
My grandson couldn’t walk across the floor without his feet turning black, drywall chipping, top of fridge not cleaned in idk how long, ac vent in ceiling was leaking horribly and I fell and got hurt. Ruined the rest of my trip, ac didn’t work well in the master bedroom and knobs were falling off in the shower plus the front door isn’t secure

My family and I stayed a full week (Saturday to Saturday) here and overall had a pleasant experience. The view is true ocean front, it’s conveniently located to so many great local restaurants, and the private beach is nice (although, if you want a good spot on the beach, you’ll need to set up your chairs before the lifeguards do which is about 0545). There were, however, several issues within the unit that were frustrating to deal with. From the moment we walked in, there were gnats, everywhere. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, cabinets, and even in the refrigerator. We created a few traps that worked to help the issue a bit but they got progressively worse throughout the week, to the point where we were tossing food that we had just purchased. The condo also was not well cleaned. We walked in day 1 to sand all over the floors, furniture, and balcony. It was so bad we had to sweep the rooms before unpacking. Not ideal with four younger kids. The sliding balcony door from the bedroom continued to either get stuck or come off the tracks, as did many of the sliding doors inside the condo (bathroom door and closet doors). Both bath tubs need intense maintenance. The faucets do not turn off completely so water drips continuously. One bath tub drain does not stop so the bath tub is really a shower. There are hallway lights that do not work and several other miscellaneous inconveniences that certainly make the cost for the week questionable.
I had read some reviews prior to going so we knew that it was an older unit with older furnishings, etc. Thing is, we loved it. It reminded me of a well loved home. Yes the furnishings are older, but we preferred that really. It was a place to rest our heads and it was very comfortable overall. Things we did to resolve a few issues. The cooling is lesser in the bedrooms so we just closed the vents in the living area to push more to the bedrooms. This kept us very comfortable and it was still comfortable in the main area. I do recommend a standing fan or tower fan in each bedroom if people want the added air flow. Easily storable in the closets. But we were fine. The sofa bed was a little tough to sleep on, so we solved that by placing the mattress on the floor from the sofa bed and a few blankets and my son who is over 6ft tall and 250 pounds was very comfortable that way. We werent there most of the day so we just left it out the whole time. It could use a new mattress on there but again, we solved that issue quickly.
It is the BEST location in my opinion. It rained a lot when we were there but we could still enjoy the ocean and people watch. It was great. Other hotel goers were setting off fireworks right in front of us which made it even better. We didnt care about the mismatched plates, etc. It just felt lived in. And not like we were in a model home where you are afraid to even get a speck of sand on the floor.
We enjoyed it and the location so much we looked at possibly buying a unit in the same location!
Location was amazing. Loved the beach, the property was wonderful as were the staff. I loved that the condo was overlooking the water and just a quick elevator or stairs to the beach.
The unit itself is in need of updates. Very old appliances, peeling wallpaper, sand embedded into the floors. Just a dirty kind of feel. The plates and place settings provided were all mismatched. Lacking a lot of things.
Looking online at the other units, this one seems to be one of the only units that has just fallen behind.

Horizon East Stay
Overall ok. Had issues with key fob not available in checkin packet which caused delays and additional trip to itip office. Other wise all was good.
While this condo was good in size, it is very old. Paint and wallpaper peeling. The AC is awful. The living area is freezing but the bedrooms and bathrooms don't get very much air. We had to buy a fan to put in the master bedroom to be able to sleep in it. The refrigerator freezes food even though we turned it down to the lowest setting. TV in the guest bedroom stopped working. I would use itrip.vacation again in a heart beat but I would not recommend staying in this condo.
overall the experiance was great. The view is fantastic, it was supplied very well too. That being said it could use a deep cleaning due to dust on carpet, debris behind dressers, and outside balcony had old cigar butts in the butt containers. Overall it does what it is suppose to do and was enjoyable for our family of 4.

Great location. Needs thorough cleaning, especially now during COVID. Needs updating/refreshing; paint and replace wallpaper.
