The tech guy came very quickly when the main TV remote was not working. Checked back later and all was well.

We have stayed at a few houses with private pools and this pool setting was exceptional! Surrounded by concrete means no dirt or mud to deal with The pool was clean and was serviced 3 times during our stay. We did have a couple of problems with the dishwasher and freezer and they were repaired within a few hours. House was clean and met all of our needs. Will be back next year!

Spring break 2025

We visited this house for our son's senior spring break in 2025 and enjoyed the location, which is one of our favorites. The house was spacious and well-stocked with essentials. However, we encountered a few issues. The pool wasn't heated, and two steps on the back porch kept breaking due to poor wood quality. We contacted maintenance twice, and they resolved the step issue. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn't functional, so we had to wash dishes by hand. Additionally, the dryer left burn marks on clothes, so we stopped using the washer and dryer altogether. Despite these issues, we appreciated the location and size of the house.

A good week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is one of the nicest rental homes we have stayed in. We have rented a beach house in GCB for the last 15 years, usually oceanfront, but decided to try out second row because of the pool. It was well worth it. My only suggestion would be that the owners add black out curtains to the downstairs King bedroom due to the morning sun being very bright.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was lovely and the outdoor space was terrific. We found the beds to be very comfortable. My one concern is that upon arrival the cleaning crew had already finished, but the reality company wouldn’t let us into the property because we were waiting on it to be “inspected”. We had been traveling all day and had small children that needed to use the bathroom. I can understand not getting in the cleaners way but that wasn’t the case. When the inspector did show up he said to us “do you really need me to inspect it?” Which honestly, no we didn’t but we had been waiting about 30 minutes at that point. When I spoke to the reality company on the phone prior to the inspector showing up to see if there was anyway to get inside just to use the bathroom they were unhelpful. To be clear this all took place between 3:30-4:00pm. We didn’t show up hours before check in. My best advice - don’t show up even a little before check-in because you will just be sitting outside.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the house, however it was dirty, couch was full of dirt under cushions, dishes dirty in cabinets bathrooms we had to clean, seemed like housekeeping missed this property, some of the towels were even dirty had to re-wash half of them. There were holes in wall behind several doors. Gate to pool wouldn't fully open, and here is the big one the place had large bugs. We have rented from garden city realty in the past and been very happy but this time not so happy. One other thing beach access is not right across the street it seems like a block away a little misleading in the write up.

Garden City Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and the location was great! The only negative things that I would have to say is that the supplies of pots and pans were a let down. There were 10 of us and when cooking it made it hard not having enough or big enough pots or pans. The other two negative things were the dryer took a very long time to dry towels and ran excessively. And we could not find the 1/2 cup measuring cup the one day, I know not a big deal, well when we could not find the TV remote and looked under the couch, we found the 1/2 cup measuring cup and a few other things. Just think the cleaning people need to do a little better of a job of moving furniture and cleaning under things. Don't get me wrong the house was overall clean, just thing sometimes some things are over looked.

The pool was very nice and the outdoor furniture was comfortable except for the lounge chairs because 3 were broken. The grill ran out of gas and we called for a replacement tank. A gentleman came, I think his name was Adam and replaced the tank and even came back to bring a new brush to clean the grill which was very nice. Thanks Adam. Overall we really liked the place and the ease of renting. Thanks for a great week.

Family Vacation Success !

We did experience gnats everywhere in the house, I am not sure if they were from previous renters or what, but the kitchen was full of them, and there were fly strips hanging in the kitchen to mitigate that issue, but there were still quite a few flying around. Also, the shower curtains and liners were dirty, they had mold and other stains on them.

Overall, the place is nice, but the ocean front road has a lot of traffic and can be loud at times. There were also some broken steps on the deck (that we fixed) and a broken door handle in the house. The upstairs air conditioner did not work during our visit, even after the maintenance person came, we still could not turn down the thermostat, so it was always hot upstairs. The ocean views were nice, and the pool was nice, but the pool was dirty when we arrived (lots of sand in the bottom), and it was not cleaned during our stay. The pool service only put chemicals in the pools; they did not vacuum it.

Great Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the opportunity to stay in this extremely nice beach house a couple of weeks ago. We had an amazing week! The house had plenty of room for our family, 3 couples and 4 grandchildren and a lot of parking space. You could enter & exit from the street in front of the house and the street on the backside which was very convenient.The house is right across the street from the ocean, and the pool was very large. It was enjoyed by all especially the grandkids. The kitchen was well equipped, so much that we thought we had no where to put groceries, but a nice 3 shelf cabinet in the dining area held most of it. The beds were comfortable and linens were bright white and soft, unlike some houses we have rented. We loved the self check in and door code. We love Garden City Reality and have used them many times over the years. They were excellent to work with and we had no issues at all. We will consider booking this house again! Don’t hesitate to book it for your vacation!
