“Door was not easy to lock with doorknob lock and that was an issue since there was no deadbolt. No person at location for check in. It took a trip across town to get a room key from the desk guy of another hotel. Rustic is the vibe they were shooting for, but I would just call the overall condition old and tired. Expedia would not let me post the picture I took of the chair in the room that looked more like a refugee from a landfill that a piece of hotel furniture.”

“This property was opened in 1950 (says so on the sign) and it is a vintage property. Don't expect all the perks that you get at a chain hotel. The room was very clean. There is a small (no vanity or bathtub) bathroom, a little kitchen area with a sink, small fridge and microwave, and coffee/coffee maker. TV worked fine, there was a small table and 2 chairs in the room. Bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and parking was right outside the door. Staff was not always in the……

“The check-in staff would not match internet pricing, necessitating booking online while right there at the counter. That seemed pretty ridiculous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But it was hard to figure out how to turn off some of the lights in the room. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. ”

“Overall, it was a very good stay. The room is advertised as Texas sized, and they are right. It’s a big room, bed was comfy. They give you liquid hand soap instead of that cheap hotel bar soap, so that was nice. Had a few issues….my tv remote didn’t work except to turn on the tv and adjust the volume, but I was out hiking all day and CNBC wasn’t that bad for an hour or so. Breakfast needs work. You have to heat up your own bacon, eggs, or sausage. At checkout, the person working the counter was……

“The rooms were cleaned as well as possible but there is mold growing on the silicone on top of the showers in both rooms. There are tears and bunching of the carpet in the rooms. ”
