「Overall the property is very nice however the home had a very bad odor. Maintenance was contacted though the representative who came by could not explain it and did nothing about it. The odor permeated all our belongings. Furthermore, the parking was inaccessible due to the road being under construction. Ultimately, we left a day early due to the odor.」

「Nice cute place parking for a boat is tight but doable」

「We have always had great experiences with hotels.com but this was a little rough. This place is not very well kept up. One of the closet doors upstairs was missing. The wood interior needs refinishing because there are a lot of blemishes and not in a fun rustic way. More like your old aunt’s home that is unkept. The wood kitchen cabinet has lots of grime where they have been touched over the years. Beware, the stairs are narrow and steep, so you need to be agile to get to the bedrooms. When...

「What I did not like was a steep driveway down into the property. Other than that, it was all good. It was in the woods and it was nice. Had a great time.」

「It was super clean , very cute inside and out. We never actually went to the dock but we did go to the beach. It was pretty close. We had a great time.」

「Great space for a little getaway for two! Loved all the attention to detail!」

「Great stay!」

「Our host was extremely helpful in getting us checked in. She told me I could call her anytime with any concerns. The property is common for a lake house and great for families. The only downfall I would say would be the uneven flooring and the smell of wet dogs when you walked into the house. Housekeeping could do a little bit better otherwise the amenities were great.」

「Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Information on booking site conflicts with what is written in guest reference book inside. Specifically check in time 」

「This rental was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids loved the loft area and the kitchen/living space was the perfect size. Everything was very clean and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. It's location couldn't be any better, either. Close to Mama Tigs, the Meeting House, and the lake amenities. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Carlton Landing.」
