"The hotel is a bit run down. The rooms are fine but rather antiquated. The view from the pool is incredible as is the overall setting. The restaurant menu was a bit eccentric and the service slow. The main issue we had during the peak summer is that it’s a very quiet part of Crete but too hot to do hiking etc"

"Great beach resort with restaurants and local shops on your doorstep. The breakfast was varied and good quality. Ideal if you don't intend to travel around, otherwise you'll need a car rental (plenty of free parking). Good quality room size. I'd stay here again."

"The apartment matches the description and the photos. It is well set up, with everything you need for your stay. There are 2 AC units, one in each room, with a door that can be closed between them. The patio has shade all day and a nice view of the pool. The pool is well-maintained, and perfect for families, with several depth options. The apartment is a great base to explore the area. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into town (1km), where there are lots of dining and shopping options. "
