A pleasant city park is across the street, 2 convenience stores nearby and a "Hotto Motto" fast food outlet a few doors down, as well as the shops and restaurants at and around Nagano Station."

"There were some maintenance issues with the hotel. The lights on the elevator button on the 9th floor did not illuminate, my room lights were also a little trouble. There were a couple of bugs in my room as well. The check in staff was not as accommodating as I would have liked. However, the hot spring was great. The hotel bus driver and restaurant staff were very friendly."
