The room was clean, but the furniture is well worn (a few springs in the bed are broken) with humidity damage (paint peeling, fridge and oven is rusty on the outside, ceiling peeling off in parts, etc). The doors are also really drafty - we shoved towels in the doors to stop them from heating up the bedroom and whistling in the living room. The bedroom still doesn't cool down like the rest of the place, so we bought a fan and put it in the doorway to the bedroom so we could be cool enough to sleep.
Also the elevator is SUPER HOT with no air movement. So you'll need to cool off and stop sweating once you ride up to the 21st floor. Not the rooms fault for that, but just be aware.
Overall everything functions and is clean (except a few of the dishes), but you do get what you pay for.
