Enjoyed our stay.

Short stay (4 days). Enjoyed being able to travel with pets. Facilities were clean but aging, however, met expectations and in close proximity to shopping. Not enough luggage carts. Short drive to entrance remained jammed up in mornings with people packing out. Elevators were just as packed. Busy place. I'd say 3 on a 5 scale.

Needs Attention

Amenities and Indigo Restaurant were good. The room however needs attention. The view is great. New floors, but the unit itself is not what I expected. My third stay at the property since 12/21. Other stays were more pleasant in regard to the unit.

Not the best experience

The outdoor pool was freezing to the point you couldn’t comfortably swim. I asked multiple times for the pool heater to be turned on but it remained frigid. The indoor pool was heated to a comfortable point only once. The front desk attendant was less than friendly. I reported it to a manager. And part of the ceiling fell while we were making dinner. Not the best experience by far! The one exception was the manager Heaven. She was outstanding!

It’s nice BUT…..

What I loved: The pools are always great and the access to the beach is nice. They provide movie rentals which was good because our TV control didn’t work (we didn’t watch tv anyways) the movies are nice for the kids tho. The rooms were pretty clean but you could see some smudges and spray residue on tv and mirror. What I didn’t love: they advertise a nonexistent gift shop. The AC unit leaked on our balcony making it unpleasant…tracking in water from the balcony, the elevators were hot, smelly, and slow. The bathrooms are a tight squeeze. This was my 3rd time staying here and check in is always fast and easy BUT I did have a visitor one morning (cockroach) and unfortunately I didn’t have this issue during any of my other stays…that being said this may be my last stay here for awhile.

nice balcony view

This is a dog friendly hotel, with many pooches. The room looks as it does in photos, it did have a slight moldy smell to it. Requested extra towels without ever getting a response. Wifi worked well. I brought extra blankets from home as I read in a review there was a sheet and very thin bedspread. Bathroom very small, hit my leg on toilet as blow drying my hair. Kitchen is nice to have, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans if needed. Balcony has a nice view, it sticks out further towards the ocean, other rooms seemed like you could see into the other hotel rooms easily. It's clean, friendly staff, they just don't deliver extra linens when asked. Also only had one tiny garbage can in room, and we had dust pan but no broom, would have been nice to sweep up sand.

Indigo Cafe @ Patricia Grande

My Sister & I had dinner at the indigo during our stay in Myrtle Beach & it was the very best meal we had during our visit. And Wendie our waitress was so very nice @ helpful so if you stay there please try it out & say hello to Wendie for us! The other special thing we did there was the 4th of July party pool side. The DJ was awesome & cookout was a great success! Prizes were given for different things & I won one for being the first Veteran to arrive. That was great fun! Great food, great drinks & great music made it the place to be on the 4th! The room on the other hand had some issues & Vacasa said they are going to get the issues handled. I hope that is true because it is a nice place to stay but apparently like everyone else they lack the appropriate number of people to get all of the work done. It may have been just our room but I doubt it because the floors were disturbingly nasty. We didn’t dare go barefooted in our room! The phone & clock in our room did not work but the beds were ok a, little hard for my taste but not bad. The bathroom was quite small but had plenty of hot water & seemed clean. They provided dove soap, shampoo & conditioner & lotion but no hairdryer!

Very pet friendly!

This location is extremely pet friendly! The cleanliness is fantastic being that there are so many animals in one location. The staff was friendly and the location is perfect ( right on the beach).

Pictures were false view…

When we walked in cabinets were hanging wouldn’t shut. The holder that held the Toilet paper was under bathroom sink cabinet when I looked under there it was disgusting getting it out. As soon as we walked in room the glass picture fell off the wall scared the crap out of me glad the glass didn’t bust and it was over top of a chair if one of my kids was sitting in it. It could have badly hurt them. Loved staff very friendly loved seeing all dogs and loved ocean view. Just thought pictures were nice online but different view in person.

I do not recommend!

When we arrived the garbage in the room was full and hadn’t been taken out. Couldn’t call front seat because the phone didn’t work. Bath tub had hair in it, bathroom door was busted and filthy. Ceiling material was crumbling and missing in the kitchen. No wash cloths in the bathroom. Someone had entered our room during the day and left the door open. Batteries in the remote were dead. One kitchen cabinet wouldn’t close and hung open. Floors were so dirty we placed a towel by the bed to wipe our feet on before getting in bed. Deadbolt did not lock. Outdoor pool wasn’t cleaned at all while we were there. I would not recommend. Sure not what it used to be

Over this was not bad. The Starbucks barista in the kibble is the best one I’ve ever met! The views are beautiful and location is perfect. However, The lazy river never had tubes, the floor in the room was so dirty that upon being in the room 5min without shoes, our feet turned black. Two of us had bug bites after sleeping in the bed. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was nice a well stocked. I think the room/balcony could just use a good cleaning.

Air conditioning

Your air conditioner did not work when we arrived. After resetting the air still didn’t they respond and replaced the whole air conditioner and had a wonderful stay. They responded very quickly and fixed the air.

The Patricia Grand was great! Beds and pillows were comfy. Easy access to the Beach. The pools and hot tubs were awesome! The staff could have been more friendly. Easy parking under the garage and ease of access getting around. We went the week after labor day so it wasn't very crowded.

We went to the beach for my 65th birthday and the room was very well kept! I only have one complaint the front desk we went to go get more towels and had to each day and one day my husband went to get some fresh towels and the lady at the front desk asked how many people you have in the room well it was just the 2 of us but I thought her remark was very rude
