Booked this condo for our family vacation based on the photos shown & a 9.4 out of 10 star rating on VRBO. Once we arrived, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The floors were not clean. There were dead bugs in the floor and under the bed, piles of hair in corners of the room, around furniture, and under the perimeter of the beds, dirty washcloths from the previous guests left under the bed and vanity in the master bathroom, the full size bed in the spare bedroom had a slat that was broken, and the shower in the master bathroom was very dirty and grimy. We messaged VRBO who forwarded our concerns to Casago. Two days later, Casago emailed back, apologized, & informed us that they could send out a cleaning crew to clean the condo for the duration of our stay. We had plans for each day and evening of our trip, so we declined since we could not be present while the cleaning crew came in. The condo itself was decorated nicely and had nice upgrades done throughout, but it was not clean. When you book somewhere and pay a cleaning fee, you also expect to walk into a clean unit. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. This would've been a great stay if the condo was cleaned thoroughly like it should be between each guests' stay. Casago did mention reimbursing part of the cleaning fee after they inspected the unit upon checkout, but we have not heard anything from them since.
