This is a simple, economical hotel. It is about one mile south of the boardwalk, but there are plenty of restaurants and stores (including Walmart) nearby. There is direct access to the beach with a foot wash, and a clean pool. The staff are efficient. The breakfast was waffles, cereal, etal, and yogurt (no eggs or meats). My room was clean with plenty of towels, typical hygiene products, coffeemaker, microwave, small fridge, and no bugs.
Downside: I've stayed at many Days Inns and this one is more grotty, mirroring the area at large. There were some interesting characters outside when I initially drove up and I could smell pot several times outside (can't smoke in room). There was a lot of noise outside later at night. As a single traveler, I was very caution. Would I stay here again? Yes, because it was cheap and my room directly overlooked the beach. But adjust your expectations.
