Family of 5 stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Since it is close to a residential area, the beach didn’t feel so crowded. The on site tiki bar, restaurant, and Starbucks was very nice. All of the staff were very helpful with checking in and with any question that came up. The indoor waterpark and pool area was great on rainy days. The only complaint would be the beds were not comfortable for any of us and the double bed room didn’t get good air circulation if the door was closed.

Spring break with the family

We always enjoy our stay at Dunes Village! The room we stayed in had a good view of the ocean, was very clean, and communication with the host was excellent. I do wish the rooms had a window that faces outside instead of the hallway, but that isn’t something that can be changed, and it didn’t affect our trip.

It was very easy to check in. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. The kids loved the water slides and hot tubs. My favorite part was the location and the ocean front view from the balcony. This was a great place to stay we will definitely go back.

Place was fine for what we needed. Not high end but not low end either. Although the property is a little bit dated, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The amenities were definitely family focused. The location right on the beach and the middle of the island was as good as it gets. Overall we had a positive experience and would recommend this property for families.

Restrooms out by the pools were so clean!!! Exceeded expectations! Restaurant in hotel had AMAZING food!! Owners of privately owned condos need to have more communication with the front desk as to who is renting out their property. It makes check-in extemely difficult and confusing when vacation tenants call hotel for further details and information, but the hotel front desk has never heard of the tenants nor even has the first detail of the reservation.

The best thing was the inside waterpark. The stove in the room a few burners didn’t work. We couldn’t get the tv in the room to work. When we got there for check in the code didn’t work and then they was still cleaning the room so we had to wait in the hallway with our stuff for almost an hour because of it.

Nice place but let me down

Elevator for the parking deck was broken, elevators inside building got stuck. Saw 2 roaches. Keep your room key on you, you need it to access everything. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay, it’s in a nice area, the staff and guess where kind. but I will not ever stay again. The roach did it for me

Nice location with suite requiring upgrades

The suite needed upgrades. I was told the improvements were scheduled for this fall. The utensils and cookware in the suite were dirty. We had trouble with the door access key provided to us. Both times we called, the CR was very helpful and prompt to solve the issue.

Overrated , for the amount of money we paid. Room probably needs deep cleaning . The closet door would not close, it had been held with a tissue which kept falling off the door slide. The back of the pull out bed had old sheet and was dirty.

Sitting on the balcony all you smelled was pot, you had to walk to far to get your car, and it was raining and my mom was not in the best health. Our room was supposed to be ocean front and we were on the back side so you had no sun rises. This was for my moms 80th birthday and she loves to watch the sun rise and watch the ocean all we could see was down the beach. Very disappointed experience for her and the rest of us

The unit seemed clean but there was a weird smell everywhere on all of the floors, beds, furniture. the smell was like pee smell. when we ot there we did not notice it because there was air freshener plugged in to cover the smell but after couple hours we started to notice it. no renovation in any furniture.
