A rare find these days in vacation rentals. Electa's Place Down is a second row downstairs portion of a classic beach home that is small dog friendly! Affordability and comfort will be yours on your next trip to Garden City Beach. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, Electa's Place Down sleeps your party of 8 in 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 2 singles and a sleeper sofa. This home allows mini vacations and off season monthly rentals!

Downstairs duplex apartment with 'Electa's Place Up'. Private washer/dryer. Shared enclosed outside shower and grill. Covered porches. 2 singles are a set of bunks. WIFI. No smoking allowed. Small dog friendly. Shared pool (with Electa's Place Up) heated 3/1-5/30 and 9/1-11/1 if air temp is not below 55F.

Great location and value

Pros: location, house layout, parking, responsiveness Cons: needs updating, not very clean upon arrival, mattress (dis)comfort Overall, we would stay here again, as it’s a good value. The house does need updating, the plumbing and outlets show their age. The mattresses are not comfortable, we bought a mattress topper to get us through the week, but a small price to pay for a great location. There is plenty of parking and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable eating and chilling.

Underwhelmed

The property was just very outdated and in poor condition. The floors were filthy and little attention has been paid to the maintenance. Missing or burned out light bulbs, the porch lite fixture was rusted and simply fell out of the ceiling one evening. The “yard” was unkempt and the overall experience left much to be desired. I would not stay here again. It was my first visit to the area but I learned a lot.
