Home away from home

We had a great stay in this room with our 2 kids. Plenty of room and direct oceanfront. The view and location was perfect. Big bonus was the starbucks in the lobby and so many pools to choose from at the resort.

Nice weekend stay

The location, multiple pools, and beach were a hit! The condo itself was very nice with comfortable furniture, bed, and was clean. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, bring your own pots/pans, knives, etc. A great weekend getaway!

Super relaxing!!

My husband, myself and our dog really needed a getaway!! The managers were amazing whenever we had a question! The rooms were well cared for and decorated beautifully!! Everything was clean and nice! The view was stunning!! We'll definitely stay here again!!

Nice place but complex needs some upgrades

Condo itself was clean and as advertised. Parking was awful and super tight and elevators were slow and very wet, hot, and cramped. Area was ok, not a lot of walkable restaurants. Overall, we would pick North Myrtle Beach if we go back.

Great Property in a great location

We stayed 5 weeks at this property and very much enjoyed our stay. The resort has all the amenities you could want. with numerous hot-tubs, in/out door heated pools, restaurant, and coffee shop. A large variety of restaurants and shopping within walking / short-drive distance. The unit was fully equipped, 5th floor, over-looking the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. The living room furniture should probably be updated; it wasn't particularly comfortable, but it was OK. We cooked in most evenings, and the Kitchen was well equipped. We were travelling with our small dog, and appreciated the receptive atmosphere towards pets at this resort. We would definitely go back.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The location is great! 5-10 min from so many food options. The view is wonderful from the balcony. The place is clean and fairly well maintained. Bed is comfy, however it makes a little noise due to the metal base being warped. The building was a little tricky to navigate on arrival. We went and found a parking spot, only to realize we needed a keyfob to enter the building. So had to go back to first floor to enter. Once we grabbed the fob from the room, we could enter on the 2nd floor which is easier from most of the parking lot.

Family Vacation

We stayed here for a family vacation. The room was okay but looks better in the pictures than it actually is. It’s looks like an old worn out room got some new paint. The beds were horrible. The facilities themselves were old and ran down. The pools had a layer of dirtyness around the outer edge above the water. They were also over crowded with people. The area around the location was the same, old and ran down. I would not stay here or anywhere else in the area again. If we went back to Myrtle Beach I would stay in North Myrtle Beach or Cherry Grove or south in the Murrells Inlet area.

Vacation

I felt the cleaning of the eating utensils were not done very well. The tray for the utensils was very dirty and the strainer. The couch needs updated not very comfortable. The recliner cannot be reclined because of a broken handle. We had a bug problem which was not something we want to see on vacation. The exterminator did not do a great job. We saw more bugs after he was done the next two days.

Visit with family

Where do I begin. Upon arrival we spent several minutes trying to find a place to park. Our truck did not fit in the parking garages, if you plan to stay here be advised parking is extremely tight. Large trucks, vans, and SUVs will find it difficult. Once parked we quickly realized you can only enter from the lobby until you get the RFID band from the room which operates the doors, we only had one band in the room that worked and was not missing the RFID so we had to go everywheretogether. We enter the room and find parts of the ceiling hanging down. Along with rusty silverware, an old chicken bone left in a trashcan without a trashbag, dirty floors (turned the bottoms of our feet black), broken recliner, torn curtains, a pitiful excuse for a couch. The couch desperately needs replaced. The cushions are in such bad shape you practically sit on the floor. If you have bad knees or back do not sit down. The bed makes a loud noise with every movement. Maintenance did come to repair the ceiling, however he did not show the first date he scheduled to come out. Showed up over an hour late the second day because he didn't have the correct directions per his words. We did enjoy the amenities at the resort and the resort itself.

Roach infested room

First day in the room was great. Room is nicely decorated. Second day the heater started leaking water all over the floor. We were told they couldn't get it repaired until the 26th with today being the 23rd. They had no one working because of the holidays. Woke up that night to find hundreds of roaches in the living room and kitchen. Called the management company and they once again couldn't send someone out until after Christmas. So on Christmas eve we went and got our own bug killer and sprayed the condo down. This worked somewhat. But still saw several dozen roaches in the kitchen. So instead of staying until the 28th like we planned we packed up and drove back to York Pa on Christmas day. When i talked with the management company they could only say never had that issue before. You can bet we will never use rent in Myrtle again. Also if you're using VRBO in these condos you have no services available from the resorts themselves. You also have no help from the resort when something is wrong and not working. As far as the resort everyone was very friendly but it was dirty and run down. Im sure we weren't the only ones with roach problems. I talked with two people in the lobby who saw a bunch of roaches in the pool are and stairwells.
