Wonderful Winter Stay at the Beach
We all loved this property! Clean and tons of room. Kitchen was well stocked which rarely happens when you rent a place. Would definitely stay here again with a big group.

Such a comfortable stay!
We can't say enough about this property. Our group included 3 adults, 3 older teens, a 10 yo and a 2 yo. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, both inside and outside. The screened in back porch was a favorite place to have coffee in the morning and wind down in the evening. The large kitchen is better equipped than my own, and there are two dining areas. The beds and bedding are comfortable and there is plenty of dresser space in the bedrooms. I really appreciated that a port-a-crib is available. There are books, puzzles, games, bikes, toddler toys, and lots of beach gear to borrow. The kids loved taking the canoe out on the pond, and the flying fish added to the fun. The walk to the clean, private beach is just a few minutes and since it is only available to the neighborhood, it is never crowded. Returning from the beach to two hot, outdoor showers was a Godsend. Keyless entry means one less thing to worry about when trying to herd a bunch of people in and out of the house. Grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and the airport are all very close. The neighbors are nice. Communication with the owner was excellent. We were very happy during our visit and would book this property again if we were coming to Myrtle Beach.

What a great neighborhood, quiet, and most amazing private beach! We loved the canoe on the lake, the huge size of the house and being so close to all the attractions but staying in a non commercial area. We want to rent this place again!

Excellent trip and stay!
We had a rather large group stay with us. My husband and kids along with my brother in law and sister in law and their children. It was more entertainment and fun than we can ask for. We ended up buying fishing poles and bait etc and had a field day catching tons of fish while also taking breaks and going to the beach. There was so much to entertain our children ranging from 10 years old down to 1 year old. (Total of 8 kids). Definitely great memories made!

Excellent vacation property!
Truly enjoyed our stay at Vagabond! Great communication with the host prior to booking. She answered all questions and provided accommodations as needed. We are a large family and the property accommodated us all very nicely. Loved the porches and pond. Very close to beach so easy to go out early, return home for lunch then head back to the beach to catch the evening sun. Kitchen was stocked very well. Easily made dinner each night. Highly recommend this property!

Terrific Stay
This place is excellent!! Perfect space for our 2 families! We loved having coffee in the mornings on the screened in porch and watching the fish jump. There is easy access to the beach and a canoe to use on the waterway. We will likely stay here again.

Great Beach House
The Beach House is in a great location and has everything you would need for a stay at the beach. It is only about 2 mins. walk to the beach and the beach is a private beach and only 1/4 of a mile south of the Myrtle Beach State beach. You can not go wrong with this for a family get-away.

Great Family Trip
Heather was a great host and very responsive if we had any questions. The house was very clean and has plenty of room for multiple families. We had 6 adults and 4 kids during our stay. The beach is pretty close, but we rented a golf cart to help transport the umbrellas, chairs and kids toys. Overall, this was a great trip and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall a great stay. Loved the outdoor spaces - both front facing beach and rear to lake. Hammock was nice too. House is old but they are upgrading and overall not a bother for a week-long beach rental. So amazingly easy to get to the beach - had three kids plus an infant (in stroller) and was no stress getting to the beach. Had multiple fridges so plenty of space for everything you need. Well supplied with beach toys, bikes, stroller, kitchen stuff (except no garlic press), two coffee makers, dual oven, etc. Owners were very accessible and helpful. Neighbors are nice. Exactly the quiet, family-oriented beach vacation I needed.

Perfect location during Pandemic
We had a wonderful stay at Vagabond. It is in a very quite neighborhood. Less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. The beach is also very quite and beautiful, not crowded at all. Perfect during pandemic since only few people on the beach. This is our first time in SC and we liked the Beach better than NC. The sand is very soft (even under the water, so we didn't need water shoes) and the beach is very clean. Plus, there is a lake right behind the house, which is great. The house is very clean and has everything we needed. The owner Heather is very thoughtful and has provided a lot of things in the house so we didn't have to pack a lot. All the sheets, bath, face, and hand towels, hand soap, paper towels, bathroom tissues, coffee filters, dishwasher tables, dryer sheets are provided. We did end up have to buy few extra bathroom tissues, one paper towel, laundry detergent, and one aluminum folio, but it was good to have everything you need in the house when arriving. The house has lots of books, games, and puzzles for entertainment. There are multiple bikes, helmets, life jackets, one beach umbrella, few beach chairs, outdoor games, and lots of sand toys. She even gave us a bottle of wine upon arrival. The house is also close to everything you need as shops are just few minutes drive away. Overall, this is a great house to stay.

Spacious, clean and perfect for socially distancing
We had a great experience and were pleasantly surprised at all the outdoor space. The front porch was huge and the back porch had a screened in area that was enjoyable. The walk to the beach was literally 1 minute and the beach was not nearly as crowded as any other area around. We were able to socially distance all week with no problem.

Our stay at the Vegabond in Long Bay Estates was amazing! The house was beautiful and very clean. We were just a short distance from the beach. The teenagers that were with us really enjoyed taking the canoe out in the lake that is behind the house. The scenery was beautiful! We will definitely want to stay again!

Perfect multi family property
We stayed for a week with 3 young kids and 6 adults. We found the house to be perfect for our needs! It had bed space, bathroom space and eating space for our 9 person party. We loved the private downstairs showers for after our beach days and enjoyed the puzzles, games and books for rainy days. It was the perfect quiet neighborhood for a nice family vacation. We were very pleased with everything the Vagabond had to offer!

Very happy with this rental
We were very happy with this house. The location is perfect - away from the bustle of the busy part of Myrtle Beach, but a short drive there, and both a short walk to a quiet part of the beach, and right on a lake. The house was a good size for us and had all the beach features we would expect, such as outdoor showers and plenty of porch space, and the owner was great to work with.

Peaceful getaway!
The Vagabond was even better than we expected. We absolutely loved our stay here. The lake out back was a wonderful extra that my family enjoyed everyday. The house was close enough to the craziness of the city that it didn’t take us long to get there but also far enough away we got to enjoy the quiet. The beach was so quiet everyday and you could see crowds each way. Was so nice not being crowded. Heather thought of everything that would be needed for your stay. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with a large family. Also communicating with Heather was amazing. Any time I had a question or concern she would always respond at a very timely manner. We will be staying again!

Great for families. There are lots of indoor toys and beach toys so no need to pack extra things. The outdoor showers make it easy to get sand out of your hair and swim suits. And the kitchen has all you need for cooking, even a Crock-Pot.

First impression of the property was a 7 out of 10. Outside appeal upon arrival needs some upgrades
Overall enjoyment of the rental was great. Beds were comfortable, although would be nicer if linens and towels provided. The lake in back and the closeness and privacy of the beach was wonderful. Location convenient to many other activities Kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking needs. Loved outdoor showers for after returning from beach Hammocks, all rocking chairs, and front and back decks were made good use of. Our family greatly enjoyed our visit

We were pleased with the location of the house. So close to many things!
We also appreciated the character and spaciousness of the Vagabond. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare family meals. We stayed on the porches a great deal of the time and enjoyed the rockers! My only complaint is that maybe the housekeeping staff needs to pay more attention to details. The shower liner in the bath I used needs replacing. The filters in the heat/ac returns need to be cleaned or replaced. We enjoyed using the August app., to lock and unlock the front door.

Very neat, spacious, and family friendly!
We had 8 adults and 4 children on this trip and not once did we get overwhelmed by feeling overcrowded! There was so much actitivies to do just in the house, we didn't feel like we even had to leave! The private ocean was so close to the house, along with the lake in the backyard (literally) that we never had to go to mainstream Myrtle for the experience! I'm so glad we chose the Vegabond, and it is something I recommend to everyone!
