At Calypso's Cove, every day is another chance to make beach memories you'll treasure long after your trip ends! Calypso's Cove is the perfect blend of comfort, fun, and coastal charm. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood yet just minutes from the beach, this inviting retreat has something for everyone in the family. Splash the day away in your private pool, challenge each other to a game of air hockey, or head out to explore the beach, just a quick drive away.
Step outside to your own backyard oasis, complete with a large pool, a pirate-themed bar for refreshing cocktails, and a patio with a gas grill for laid-back meals by the pool. Start your mornings with coffee on the screened-in porch and end your evenings with a soak in the hot tub under the stars. Inside, the bright, open living space welcomes you with high ceilings, cozy furnishings, and coastal decor to make you feel right at home. The fully updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and everything you need to whip up vacation favorites. There are four bedrooms at Calypso's Cove, each with comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out and relax after a busy day of exploring the OBX.
Beach Access: Head east on W Woodhill Drive and turn left onto S. Croatan Highway (HWY-158). At the traffic light, turn right onto E. Bonnett Street. The public beach access is located on the other side of NC-12 (The Beach Road). The Bonnett Street Beach Access offers a paved parking lot, a bath house, lifeguard stand (in-season only), a wooden walkway and a volleyball net.
Advance Year Bookings: Accepts Bookings within 51 Weeks in Advance : This home allows the current year's guest the first option to rebook their dates for the future year. Contact our office for details on how to book this home for next year.
No Smoking/Vaping. No Pets Allowed.
Milepost: 11
All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
