“This lodge is a hidden treasure. It is humble, but clean, and nicely maintained. The setting is gorgeous and the location is so charming. We were traveling through, but I’d love to return and spend more time in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful.”

1. Walk to the saco river in the evening
2. The pool... were not on site for us. We would need to drive to them. It said pool and walk to the river on site. It was not. ”
“Breakfast is charged separately, with limited variety and high price. There is a water bar on each floor that provides drinks and snacks, but it will be charged at USD 35 per day in the room rate. In short, it is not cost-effective.”
“I enjoyed the little room we stayed in at this Inn. It is small but cute. The days we were at the Inn the Tavern and restaurant were closed, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, so that made the visit very quiet and pleasant, but we did miss being able to have meals and enjoy live music and such. It was a nice, comfortable, well appointed and clean place to stay, with local charm and close to Storyland and North Conway. ”
