Hotel Forza Kanazawa

"We had booked a Comfort Double, non smoking room we found the room clean, small & comfortable you might need to move a few things around to make it more spacious but that is the same in most rooms of that size in Japan. The shower looks a bit weird looking but once you know how to work it, it was fantastic. The Hotel is a easy 15 minute walk from the train station and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.The only negative thing was I found the breakfast area a bit chaotic when it was busy. I possibly would stay here again depending on price comparing to other hotels of similar style."

"What is good about the hotel: location - able to walk to most touristic attractions or a very short taxi ride, very clean, the public bath was spotless, the staff do almost anything to make your stay more pleasant, the room small and yet very comfortable and quiet. Overall, a great experience. I did not try the breakfast."

"Comfortable room and king size bed, excellent bedding, comfy mattress, only wish was for larger pillows. Good ac, very quiet room. Coffee and tea in room, great service from staff. Absolutely fabulous buffet breakfast and very short walk to omicho market. Will stay here again!"

"This is a large sprawling hotel with a relatively new addition block (2020) I think, in which we had a very nice room looking out onto the wide open area and above the large car and coach parking area. The Hotel appears to cater mostly to Bus tour operators with these arriving and departing daily. The staff were mostly really nice and helpful, we used the outdoor Onsen pool which was great, there were others to choose also. Didn’t have the breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment. The shuttle bus starts running to the train & bus stations at 8:00am which we found very strange, usually a hotel this size would have it running 24hrs or at least from 6am. The hotel is so large unfamiliar guests can easily get lost or not know where to find the different areas. Nice hotel and I’d stay again if ever in Takayama."
