This was our second time staying at this property. We stayed here last year and had a great experience. We had hoped to stay in the same cottage but the price had increased drastically so booked the cottage called the Ark, which posted that it accommodates 3 people. There were 3 of us. This cottage is located upstairs above the office. Not known until we got there. The cottage is very nice, clean and well equipped. However it was smaller than anticipated and when you pull out the sofa bed it is very difficult to get to the bathroom. There is only about 6 inches to get by or you have to crawl over the sofa bed. The setup is not really conducive for 3 people and I would not recommend more than 2. There is also a small table but only 2 chairs. The other issue for us was that the water pressure in the shower was very low.
We paid more for this cottage than we did last year here for a 2 bedroom, 2 floor cottage so it was rather disappointing.
I will say that the staff were great. They were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Mary A.

We loved our stay at the cottages! The weather was not on our side but luckily, the cottage is so lovely we had a quiet evening in. We were celebrating my mum’s birthday and the stunning towel arrangement Terry left was amazing!
We’ll definitely be back!

A fun place to stay right on the boat basin. Convenient to town, shopping, dining and the Wave (bus). Parking was a bit of a problem but in the nature of the location. There is designated parking off site (about a 10-15 minute walk). Staff were very friendly and helpful - overall an excellent experience!

If you’re the kind of person who loves falling asleep to the soothing sounds of a nightclub DJ thumping away until after 1 a.m. every single night, then the Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin might be your dream stay. For the rest of us who value even a hint of peace and quiet on vacation, it’s more like paying luxury rates for front-row seats at a late-night block party you didn’t RSVP to.
The bed itself? Surprisingly solid—let’s just say it’s well-suited for “romantic activities.” Sleeping, on the other hand, was more of a challenge unless you happen to enjoy pulsing basslines as your lullaby.
Charming location, nice staff, but unless management decides that guests might occasionally want rest as well as nightlife, I’d recommend bringing earplugs… or maybe just your best dance shoes.

讚好：整潔度、職員與服務、住宿狀況和客房舒適度
We stayed in the John Jay cottage on the outer corner wharf. The property is very well cared for and the staff is wonderful. My husband and I had a great time at The Cottages.
