You get as much as you pay

A clean, authentique apartment in an authentique neighborhood. But the neighborhood is very noisy even in the nights. Not suitable for 4 adults. Very small . Bathroom and kitchen are far too small. Kitchen devices are very old. i think two mocha pots (coffee makers) must be thrown to the garbage. Stairs (both inside and outside) are very steep. You can walk to the Toledo metro station, Piazza del plebiscito, Galleria Umberto in 10-15 minutes. There are mini markets in the close vicinity and a Carrefour express for a 10 min walk. Ferry station (to the Capri, Procida, Sorrento vs) , Castel del ovo, Castel nuovo and Napoli cruise marina are also in the walking distance. if you are a Maradona fan(which i am not) murales Maradona are at very close vicinity. Basement pizzeria (nennela) makes margherita and 4 formaggi well. i suggest them. Anyway this apartment could be okay for two or maximum three adults. One last thing : the apartment doesn't have the terrace on the advertisement picture. Or at least they didn't show it to us.

Quirky apartment in the Spanish Quarter

The property is along the southwest edge of the Spanish Quarter, up the hill from the lively Via Toledo. The property is in a wedge-shaped building above Pizzeria Nennella (which appears to be split into two small shops, in case you get confused). The wifi is great. The heater is almost too strong. The bedroom is in an upstairs loft, and the heat collects there. Even the lowest heater setting was too hot for me, so I simply had the pilot light on. Among the quirks of the apartment: -- The front door is quite narrow. -- The light switches, such as in the bathroom, can be quite finicky. -- The bathroom ventilation is not good, so leave the window open a crack after a shower. Overall though, for the location and price, I was satisfied. A minor complaint: It wasn't clear that I needed to pay in cash. I don't like to carry a lot of cash while travelling. Fortunately the owners were understanding and came back the next day after I found an ATM. From the booking, I see only the generic hotels.com statement that most places accept electronic payments. General tip: If travelling from the Toledo Metro station, don't follow Google's directions; there are a lot of ups & downs and some stairs. Instead, go nearly to the end of Via Toledo, and go up Via Sergente Maggiore, for example.

Situation très centrale, tous les petits commerces traditionnels et bon marché qui font le charme de Naples au pied de l'immeuble et belle terrasse vraiment exploitable, on peut y manger à 6, au milieu du bruit et de la vie de la ville. Bien qu'il n'y ait qu'une chambre (un lit double et un lit simple) on peut facilement vivre à 4 en ayant son intimité car l'appartement est sur 2 niveaux, canapé lit dans la cuisine en bas, chambre indépendante et salle d'eau en haut.
