“We stayed at this property for one night before departing for the United States, and it was an excellent choice! Since we had only one night in Naples, the hotel’s location was ideal, with easy walking access to the pedestrian-friendly historic old town. The hotel manager was very helpful and kindly arranged a taxi for our 4:30 a.m. departure, which we really appreciated. This is a very small, intimate property, so if you’re looking for a full-service hotel with lots of amenities, it may not be……

“I was a little concerned when I arrived by taxi to Dante Plaza and discovered that the hotel entrance was through a gritty corridor behind big graffitied gates (which were open) and up an elevator to 3rd floor that charges you 20 cents per ride. I’ve heard it said that Naples is unvarnished Italy. While the city is gritty, I had a great 3-day stay at a property staffed by wonderful people who were quick to offer help and advice about their city. The hotel is very secure behind the outside gates……

“The property is a short walk to the airport for my early morning flight. The room was very quiet despite the fact it is so close to the airport and next to a main travel commute of vehicles. The staff is not there 100% of the time, hence the coded entry at the steel door, so having a WhatsApp number to communicate with them would be helpful. However, Expedia only provided a phone number, which just rings without voicemail.”
