Beautiful week on Marco Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Marco Island before and prefer the south end of the island. The south end is not as congested with traffic and has two access paths to the beach. Even though the south end isn’t as congested it is easily walkable to shops and restaurants.The condominium property is very clean and well taken care of. The pool was warm and had plenty of chairs for seating and lounging. The tennis court has been lined for pickle ball which we were happy with and played daily. Unfortunately, the property didn’t have an outdoor gas grill to use but did have a charcoal grill if you wanted to go through the trouble. The condo itself could use some updating. There is carpet in the master bedroom which was stained and dirty. However the bathrooms and kitchen felt very clean. The condo was supplied nicely with coolers, beach towels, beach chairs and other necessities for the week. Overall we would definitely rent the condo again due to its proximity to beach access, location on the island and amenities. It was a great week!

Winter get away

We have been coming to Marco for 10+ years so we are very familiar with the island. This condo had a great location right on the main road. The walk to the beach was short and some eating options and entertainment are a short walk. As always, the weather was perfect. We have never had a bad weather week at Marco. Highly recommend the Essex.

i always stay at properties with outdoor grills. this property has a grille, but it was so poorly maintained that my wife refused to eat anything that was cooked on it. the property managers made a big issue about filling out a registration form as soon as we arrived, but there were no blank forms available, and the box where they were to be deposited was unlocked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Essex was a nice place to bring our grand daughters to. The beach is only a short walk for them along with the Marco Walk and stores for them to shop and eat. Property is well maintained and clean upon arrival it could use a few more dishes service for 8 is not quite enough. Plenty of nice linens. The beach cart is convenient and used every day but, the umbrella needs replacing. Hopeful to utilize this space in the near future.

Spring break

Good location. 5 min walk to the public access. Standard 2/2 condo. Nice porch. Carpet desperately needs replaced. Refrigerator was replaced on our trip. Not too inconvenient. Staff was communicating well w us. It was expensive for what we got by our standards but it was spring break 2021 so expected.
