Oceanfront two bedroom suite did not disappoint. The view and patio were beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful, pool was gorgeous, entire property was clean, and it was quiet. You can walk to Bahamar if you want to gamble or have a variety of 40+ restaurants but you can escape back to Goldwynn’s quiet and calm.

The Goldwyn is beautiful BUT theres nothing to do there and we ended up at bahamar everynight.. Staff is wonderful ..it just needs either an icecream bar or a cafe something other than the 1 restaurant and 1 beach restaurant First time staying here..i prefer the bahamar..

We had an amazing stay at Goldwynn and preferred the quiet, insulated vibes as compared to Baha Mar down the beach. It was still close enough that our 5-year-old was able to walk there and back for dinner along the water; and one time, we took the #10 bus outside of the Baha Bay entrance back to Goldwynn for $1.50 per person. All the staff at Goldwynn were friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and never too crowded. Food was delicious. If we were to go back, we'd definitely rent our own car as taxis are expensive and sometimes hard to coordinate once you're a little ways outside downtown Nassau and not at a major hotel/resort. However, if you do get stranded, you can always ask the shop or restaurant to call a taxi for you. Our trip overall was definitely higher budget than we normally spend, but after exploring and seeing the prices at other resorts and even the more local restaurants, the prices at Goldwynn were definitely within the range of other similar caliber places.

Our room was beautiful. We were not happy with view on first floor, as soon as possible they moved us to the fifth. It was great. That was our only problem. The entire staff, from front door, front desk, housekeeping and beach; everyone was helpful and very friendly. It was our 50th anniversary, and they made it extra special.

My experience at Goldwyn Resort & Residences was nothing short of phenomenal. The size of the resort was perfect -- big enough to provide a wonderful setting with restaurant, bars, pool, beachfront access and more but also small enough to feel comfortable and relaxed. The styling of the resort is top-notch. Classy, artsy and pristine. The best part of the experience was the ocean view and balcony. I would absolutely stay at Goldwynn again.
