My husband and I came to the Clifton House for our first time, for a quick weekend getaway. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house has the most breathtaking views and the historical charm made it all the more perfect. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Beautifully renovated historic home. Very clean and easy access. Gorgeous view of the Mississippi river from the porch. In walking distance to the town and Main Street of Natchez.

Great anniversary getaway!

Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary. The Clifton Room was beautiful and comfortable. The house was close to everything and had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Would definitely stay here again!

The Clifton House is so beautiful. We were even blessed by meeting the owners. Perfect location to anywhere you’re wanting to go… will definitely be going back.

Great location

The Clifton House is in one of the best locations as far as river views. The house itself was very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is super quiet. However, this property is NOT a bed and breakfast any longer as breakfast, neither on-site nor at a remote location, is no longer offered. We were disappointed to discover this fact after we had checked in.

We enjoyed the back-porch view of the Mississippi River and the beautiful sunset. The B&B was quiet and clean with a nice bathroom in the Audubon suite. We were disappointed that there was no breakfast, so why is it called a B&B? The Keurig and the many choices of coffee and tea was nice.

The best porch to watch the river, ever!

Our stay at Clifton was the perfect ending to our Natchez Trace trek from Nashville. It is perfectly situated for the best view of the river. Rocking chairs on the porch add to its charm and our relaxation. Our room was immaculate and nicely furnished. The bathroom in particular was beautiful! A park is a few houses away. “Natchez Under-the-Hill” is within walking distance and features restaurants, a gift shop, and “The Saloon” Overall, I would highly recommend Clifton House when staying in Natchez.

Ideal choice

The Clifton House is in the perfect location on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. We sat on the porch and watched the barges. We walked to the eight blocks of historic homes and buildings. We never had to use our car while staying here. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. The room was immaculate. We especially loved the bed-it was like sleeping in the clouds! We'll be back and we'll stay here.
