“Felt worn down. Breakfast was powdered eggs and just was cheap. Bed was to soft but that is a preference thing”

“This property is in dire need of maintenance and repairs. One of the two elevators was broke, the ice machine on floor two was broken and our bed needs to be replaced. I compare this hotel to the one we stayed in at Gulfport. It just doesn’t measure up. Staff was very accommodating. They got us extra chairs for our room as the room only comes with one chair. They accommodated extra towels when needed. But I did notice some of the staff seemed very old and we caught one of them hiding in a……

“Breakfast was good but the overall property was not well kept up. The rooms were very dusty and carpets need replacing. AC worked well in one of our rooms but not very well in the other”

“We were disappointed with the condition of our room. The furnishings were very nice (and realizing it's an historic building) it just looked very tired, the walls, bathroom, etc. At least our room did. In addition there was an adjoining door to the room next door that didn't block the sound at all from that room. You could hear just about everything coming from there. After coming back from diner we found ourselves locked out of the building as the coded keypad to the front door wasn't……

“Staying at the Choctaw Hall Bed and Breakfast isn’t lodging, it’s an experience. My time there felt like a modern day glimpse into Gone With the Wind, minus the plantation. Lee and David are incredible hosts and curators of living history. The love they have for their home and their town emanates through with every recommendation to making the most of enjoying our time in Natchez and their knowledge of all things beautiful.
